Basic Cosmetic Tattooing

Course Description:

This course will teach cosmetic tattooing safety, history, color theory, application, client consultation, and business marketing. Students are taught to use cosmetic tattoo machines as well as hand (non-powered) instruments. This is the course designed to meet and exceed the training requirements of the State of Oklahoma; therefore, graduates will be able to test for licensure in Oklahoma. Students are taught basic eyeliner, eyebrow, and lip procedures, with safety and quality being first and foremost.

Course Requirements:

The student must pass all exams and competencies with a score of 85% or higher.
The student must observe 9 procedures (3 eyeliner, 3 eyebrow, and 3 lip procedures).
The student must perform 21 procedures at an acceptable skill level (7 eyeliner, 7 eyebrow, and 7 lip procedures).

Cost: The fee for Basic Cosmetic tattooing is $6,179.00. This includes all supplies, equipment, books, and insurance. This does not include fees for CPR training, hepatitis B vaccinations, TB skin testing, or any testing and licensure fees required by the state.
